My Favorites for Dogs

Anyone who knows me knows I am a sucker for my dogs, and I have bought and tried a LOT! Here are some of my favorites…from treats, hygiene, cleaning, portraits, furniture and more!

Cleaning Tips

I get accidents! My go-to cleaners are:

Spray bottle of vinegar, water, and grapefruit essential oil for piddles
BEST ever carpet cleaner is Proxi Spray and Walk Away
Washable pee pads

Hygiene and Care Tips

Tooth brushing is critical, it can prevent costly vet bills and more importantly is needed for your dog’s health. I use a baby soft toothbrush and Virbac CET Enzymatic Toothpaste. It is a little more expensive but worth it. My dogs line up at night for the chicken flavor, if you have a dog with allergies use the Vanilla Mint.
Wahl Canada Four in One Dog Shampoo and Conditioner (lavender and chamomile). I bath every two months.
Having 5 little dogs gets expensive for grooming every 8 weeks, so I started grooming them myself to save money. I now found I love it, and they are calmer too. I bought this grooming table, nail grinder, scissors, and dog clipper set. YouTube has many good videos you can watch for how to groom, depending on the specific breed.
My vet recommended Glandex to help one of mine with problems naturally expressing.

I don’t recommend any specific food brands, because I believe it is very personal and should be a conversation with your vet. My three go-to’s for treats:

Bedding and Crates

My dogs sleep in bed at night, but during the day when I am in my office they love to sleep in crates. I love the Feandra because it doubles as crate and furniture.
